We introduced to Weston Homes a brownfield site development opportunity close to Harlow Railway Station and assisted them in securing the site off-market for a major residential development of up to 11 storeys comprising 376 homes, subject to obtaining planning permission. The proposal will provide high quality homes in the form of a distinctive group of buildings at highly sustainable location.
We were instructed by our client Tesco Stores Ltd, to sell this 5.3-acre site in Newport Pagnell which was the former home of the Aston Martin Works. We fully marketed the site and received 17 offers on a variety of different basis some of which were conditional upon planning. Our client selected Redrow Homes offer and the sale completed in April 2017 following the grant of planning permission for a development of 86 dwellings.
We have provided planning and development consultancy advice (over the last 30 years) to a private landowner client in this attractive Cotswold market town, securing piecemeal land allocations and releases for residential development. Most recently we advised the landowner on an option agreement with a promoter on the final 9.3 acre parcel. They have now secured planning permission for 240 dwellings on a wider 22 acre site, which is now being built out by Miller Homes.
